Research some articles on creating Business Requirements (sometimes called the Business Requirements Document). Write 1-2 pages (500-1000 words) about what you found and how BRDs play a role in project management. You get to pick the topics surrounding Business Requirements, but just in case you’re having trouble, here are some helpful items (you don’t need to address all of these):
- Why are business requirements important?
- How are business requirements different from technical requirements?
- How are business requirements different from an RFP or a business plan?
- What are some recommendations for writing clear business requirements?
- What are some of the business requirements for your group project? Why are these important?
- What are user stories? How do these relate to business or technical requirements?
- Anything you think is important to know about business requirements.
